Retail Answer POS Lite (“the app”, also shown as RA POS Lite) is published by Monika Business Services Pty Ltd (“we”).
The app stores the information you enter (your menu, staff accounts, store settings, and sales records) only on your device, in the app’s private storage. Staff passwords are stored as salted one-way hashes, never as plain text.
Nothing. The app has no accounts with us, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. It does not send your data to us or to any third party.
If you add a picture to a menu button, the app asks to use your photo library or camera. Only the picture you pick is used: it is resized and stored with your menu on the device. Nothing else in your library is read.
The app connects only to receipt printers that you add yourself, on your local network, to send them print jobs. On iOS you may be asked to allow access to your local network for this.
Backups, CSV exports and PDF reports are created only when you ask for them. They are saved or shared wherever you choose (for example, your Files app, a cloud drive or email). Once a file leaves the app, it is governed by the service you sent it to.
Your device’s own backup service (such as Android Backup or iCloud device backup) may include the app’s data, under your account with that service.
Uninstalling the app deletes all of its data from the device. Keep a backup first if you need the data later.
The app is a business tool and is not directed at children.
